A 7 ton, 4-wheel Class A Climax S/N 148, built in 1896 or 1897. Painted yellow with bright red trim and lettering, this was the first of two Climax locomotives to bear the name "GOLD BUG" and use this paint scheme. S/N 148 was built for T. D. Collins and used on his operations in the Tionesta Valley in Northern Pennsylvania. Photograph taken at the Climax Manufacturing plant in Corry, Pennsylvania.
