Hey Folks;
I have seen a lot of people stop by and look a spell at this site. That's good! Some may even wonder why membership has slowed down or why updates do not happen often. Maybe, you stop in and wonder why threads are not so populated or why the database is broke (I did post a way around that in the threads)?
Well, this is the answer. The website is managed by BOB and he has not logged in officially since Oct 2024. Without him, it remains as it is. I and a few other members on here do not have that permission, so it remains. I do not know Bob personally, but I tried to contact him many times. No response. I tried the website host as well and they have no corresponds with him either, so here it is.
I post occasionally, but am not trying to place so many pics or items in here that would violate copyrights or have to be cleaned up by Bob when he actually does come back on here. I await for his direction and thoughts as to where things should be placed here. I wait his guidance. I have my own website to maintain and this one is not mine. I do log in every day on this site.
So... If anybody has a question about Climax locomotives that I can possibly answer I offer to help. I am not a field expert by any means but have been walking the logging roads in the woods, studying all of the geared locomotives and been a hobbyist since 1967. I know them fairly well, others may know them better. If you have a question and I can answer it, great. If I can't, I can post it here on a thread and maybe a real expert can email me the answer and I'll post that!
Anyway, until Bob comes back or the whole thing comes crashing down...
