Climax photos in books...

Not sure about the rules of the game here,, but there are quite a lot of Climax locomotive photos that are available from two great books that I and many others own. The thing here is these books are copyrighted by their respected writers and I do NOT wish to violate any content that belongs to the original authors. If a picture is posted here from one of these books, and the source is documented along with the picture, is that a violation? I do not want to cross a line here.
Anybody has an answer to this?

The Sad Story of Climax 2 of the Saldern Lumber Company. Built in 1899, this Climax in the following four pictures was a troublesome engine.
